Hi, can anyone tell me why text, like tail numbers are unreadable on any texture that I create or modify? They are nice and clear while creating but as soon as they are save back to DXT3 format they blur. Huh Embarrassed

I can help a little, ive had that problem a couple of times.  Im assuming you use DXTBMP, on the main start up there are two checkboxes on the right side.  Make sure neither of them are checked and the blur should go away.  At least it did for me.

hmm not sure, make sure when you type out the words you turn them around

example:
Cessna N129N if i did that it would show up backwords,

so you have to flip around the text,

not like:
N129N Cessna

but:
flip it around as tho it is u nreadable (all letters backwords) just open up a default airliner file and look at the text youll see what i mean

Thanks all for the help and advice...I'll try it out.  Regarding the lettering and which way you need to type it, as far as I can tell it depends on how the tail is layed out, some you can type out and just copy to the other tail...  others you have to "flip".

Thanks again all. Wink
