but if you will buy, make sure you buy 3.5 version as it is compatible with fsx

AS an aside, that IS the version you would get if you buy now.  You would literally have to ASK for a previous version.

Is FSDS 3.51 truly FSX ready ?  Does it allow you to make seperate interior/exterior models and allow for all the FSX texture tricks ?

If so (I've done some Googling and can't get a definative answer), I'm going to get it.

FSDS 3.51 is FS-X compliant.  It allows for separate interior/exterior models.

It does not *natively* support "all of the FSX texture tricks"  (bump maps, etc etc) but it does support attachpoints (a bit of manual hanky panky needed), and some fellows have reported success in adding "texture tricks", such as bump maps,   in the x file.
