One thing that buggs me about FSX. When I go to the airport of my town (CYMM) and I try to make contact with ATC to get directions to taxi to the ramp, its like theres nobody there Huh, this is quite odd cause it's not like that in real life, and I know, my father works at the airport. Is it possible to make CYMM seem alive, and make it more like the real thing? and would it be possible to have Dash 8's and CRJ's and Embraer 190s and stuff fly out and land?

well you can do it with AFCAD, i found your little airport Ft.McMurray

under Lists / Comm Freq

looks like you have (mind you this is FS9

128.500   ATIS       CYYM
135.700   Center    Edmonton
118.100   FSS        Ft.McMurray
122.500   FSS        Edmonton
126.700   FSS        Edmonton

the first one is weather
second one i believe is the area control (flight following such and such)
and the last three FSS radio types are not authorized to give clearances

What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....&&&&&&&&&&                        The GMax effect... The GMax effect

For FSX, a better option is freeware Airport Design Editor (ADE). It works very much like AFCAD but is optimized for FSX. This is important as some airports are placed slightly different between the two sims - take the AFCAD for RJSM in FS9 and place it in FSX for a striking example. Anyway, ADE allows modifying all aspects of default airports, including adding working fuel trucks if desired.
