They could buy a share in a half decent aeroplane for that, although admittedly the electricity for the batteries of a camera is cheaper than AVGAS...

Canon 5D, Canon 600mm f/4.0L IS USM AF, 1.4TC, and a Lens Hood.
(I used my 400D on it from time to time as well..)

That thing is a Beast to carry around... but takes some great shots.
