Unlike Marks' computer mine isn't steampowered nor held together with rubber bands. I'll try the latest version first, Doug.

I used both IE and FF, currently on FF, mainly deu too it being faster, just as good looking, and it can actualy draw the webstandards as they are supposed too be and not the forced-down-on-us webstandards that microsoft likes. Although that is just a developer's thing.

Do the right thing...Go for Opera. I use it and it's soooo easier & practical to use, and its so fast as firefox(maybe faster than FF).
Trust me, you are going to love it(as I did).
Cheers

I was an Opera user for well over half a decade, but was converted to FF a couple of years ago.

I cant find a logical explanation for that..

I could at the time. I think it was just before Opera became completely "free".

According to Pete, Opera has problems with downloading files from Simviation.

I tried Opera some years ago. Couldn't understand what all the fuss was about & returned to IE. I now use Firefox.

...Thats the only problem..But it is so easier to use( I cant imagine my internetic life without Opera)

We (back when I was a whipper-snapper) started using it in the mid 90s when dial up was the only option. Where we were, and for its main use (downloading FS files!) it was noticably quicker than IE, even when in the free (unregistered) format, with the adverts. When we registered it became quicker still. With the advent of widespread BB it became academic, and spending money on it was futile.

Firefox works great for me with the latest updates
I've been an IE hater for several years. I don't have the pop-ups with Firefox, its fast, and a clean look with only the features I want...also seems like when I used to be on IE the computer got loaded with spyware, addware, viruses, etc...don't seem to have hardly any with Firefox

I jumped onto the firefox bandwagon well before it was popular! I got my hands on the first Alpha and have stuck with it ever since! The is the list of why FF is better than IE:
1. FF had tabs well before IE (where do you think microsoft got the idea?)
2. Mush faster than IE
3. Fully customisable! You can even tweak it to make it go FASTER!
4. Addons! There are literally thousands of addons available for just about anything
5. Far more secure! It doesn't have the security holes of IE. No viruses, no adware, no bots, no pop-ups
6. Pop-up blocker! I can't live without it.
7. A specific addon called AdBlock Pro! It removes any and all adds off the webpages.
8. Spellchecker
Perfect to combat all of the spelling natzis here
9. Continually being developed by a large group of programmers so all security holes, bugs and problems are plugged very quickly.
10. Version 3 is coming very soon!!

ive used most of the major web browsers (IE 6-7, FF,Opera,Safari) and im stil using firefox, its just easy, clean UI, tabs and for some reason i realy like the folders bar, its just quicker than searching through that "favourites" menu.

OK, I'll accept that but still don't understand how you reverted to version 2.0.0.0 or where Crash would download it.
You may download old versions of certain programs
