Nice catch with that last 560. She belongs to the FAA and is a frequent visitor to LGA.

To be honest, they really need some work done to them, just simple pieces of editing like rotation, brightening, cropping etc would go a long way to making them look far better, I'd never post my shots on the internet without any work.
Please don't take offence, I'm just trying to be constructive.  Smiley

Well, not everyone may like this type of response, but I'm a big fan of constructive criticism. That's the only way to communicate fields of attention to someone. We see far to many shots that have a lot of issues ( and I'm including mine!  Wink)

Over at my Belgium digital, my favorite photography forum, we have a nice set-up. There is a photo-discussion forum, where you can post shots that are evaluated by other members, who give pointers on how to improve things. And there is a showcase-forum, where you only post your best work. The quality is quite high, so you think twice before posting. Perhaps this may also be an idea for this site?

It might be atleast sensible to put something along those lines in a must-read sticky, hopefully it helps people realize that written communication is only 10% from total human interaction.

I'm sure people don't need that spelling out to them. Take critiscm for what it is, and that's something that should hopefully help you improve in the future (given that it is actually constructive).

I agree with you there, but if you would know how some people react when someone critics there work then it would make sense.

Thanks for the comments Steve, I didn't have time to work on these, I was just in a hurry to post shots from my new lens. I don't know about anyone else, but I ask for comments, so that I can learn from what other people say. I would never be offended, I am just trying to be better at a hobby that I enjoy. Mark

At first, I was going to point out that your attitude was a little off, then I read you thread on the new lens and now I see why.  Work on those push ups and arm curls ... and get a tripod.

I'm with you Mark as I am always open to suggestions with my shots.  Of coarse there isn't much more I can do with the limitations of my camera and I can only do so much editing without it being overkill.  That is why I need a DSLR and soon!!!  After Santa brought you that lense he could not afford to get me a new camera!! Cheesy
