8. It looks nice, but I dont really like the asphalt at the bottom, and the actual shot is nothing spectacular

71.25 from 8

It's still in with a chance Smiley

Every time I fly I load up my digi and snap an average of100 or so shots. From taxi - takeoff - flight - to landing.
I will spend a long time filtering what shots I want to select and upload to post.
Sometimes I will not even post anything out of 100 or so because I am looking for the best shots. If they are not there, I will wait to see if I can capture them on my next flight.

That goes ditto with me too, Dave. I now look at all the elements in my shots like a detective. If one little thing isn't right, like navigation lights (see my entry in the December Screenshot Contest), then in the Recycle Bin it goes.

I'm not that excited by this shot either, but much asphalt, not enough sky, it just doesn't do it for me. Not really gallery level,
7-7.5 here I'm afraid

Dave, you're now obligated to offer this type of review on all Rate This shots entered here at Studio. WinkOnce again, you've been most helpful and you're intentions of having everyone make certain they post high quality shots for review, and ask questions on how to improve, is certainly in line with what the StudioV is constantly trying to achieve..being a teaching/learning experience for everyone interested in the fine art of screenshot taking. Smiley Kermit, looks like you have a good shot at the gallery, we'll have to wait and see how the next couple of rates go...
