Will installing a game on an USB hard drive rather than internal one affect it's performance?  The internal drive isn't very big and is nearly full, and I am wondering if I should just use the USB drive for storage and not games that need a lot of system resources.

I have little experience with USB drives but I think the data transfer is a little slower?

A USB drive will be considerably slower than an HD. The transfer rate is err... naff for playing games. That said I couldn't live without my pen drives (thank goodness for the end of floppies) Cool
