HJG's Great Christmas Website Update !Ground crews have really been clocking up the overtime on HISTORIC JETLINERS GROUP production lines these past few days .... all in anticipation of the groups Christmas 2007 website update.
And what an update it is too .... fulfulling all HJG's promises of the past several weeks .... and more !
Featured new and upgraded files included within this final HJG update for 2007 are all the following ....
1. A brand new B707 GAUGES/CORE FILES package for its Boeing panels. This update features further refinement to programming and results in some more nice enhancements being added to all 16 of HJG B707/720/C135 TYPE panels for FS2004 & FSX. There have been no changes to any of the actual panel files. These do not need replacing. Again this is just a gauges/core files update only.
2. A planned major upgrade of all DC8 files. This comprises of updates for all 10 Douglas PANELS, new GAUGES/CORE FILES, and revisions to each of the 19 DC8 AIRCRAFT BASE PACKS too. These changes feature improvements over previous DC8 panel gauge programming, add new details to each panel, and result in an overall enhancement to the quality and authenticity of HJG's DC8 product which is now compatibile with both FS2004 & FSX.
3. B707-138 & B707-138B upgrade. HJG have relesed 5 new and more authentically detailed MODELS of this unique member of B707 family. These include the original production B707-138 of 1959, converted B707-138B of 1961, late production B707-138B of 1964, and 1980's upgrades of these aircraft featuring P&W JT3D fanjet engines equipped with Stage 2 Hush Kits. 3 new AIRCRAFT BASE PACKS covering B707-138, B707-138B EARLY, and B707-138B LATE replace the original data and include FDE revisions. HJG's entire B707-138B (only) TEXTURES inventory has also been appropriately updated for these new models.
4. Last but by no means least of all .... a small selection of NEW TEXTURES. These include the very first production B707-120 of 1958 in Boeing house livery, some very rare African registered B707-320C's from both the 1970's and more recent times, and a BAe 146-300/RJ-100 featuring the spectacular hybrid livery of a major European based carrier.
The best things in life are all "FREE" .... just as is the best for FS from HJG !
