But why don't you take that yellow/black lead and take around the back instead of across the motherboard, or is it to short?

Too short. I'm not as big of a fan of bottom mounted PSU's as I thought id be Tongue

Everyone who does some electrical wiring from time to time loves those plastic straps! Just don't cut the excess strap to close to the wire or you might snap it... I know... I did it once... but never again... Grin

Yours is the first case I've seen with the pwr supply mounted on the bottom.......when it's at the top, it's only a matter of making a hole for a fan in the top of the case to vent out all the heat which rises anyway.......... Undecided

Cut them flush- they won't snap unless you cinched them too tight. I've installed thousands of them... trust me.
Those long ends you have there are going to tear your hand up one of these days...

cant you run that wire under the mother board? i thought i read somewhere you could do that in the Antec 900 case.

a modular PSU would probably of made it alot easier to manage the cables, then their is not need for cable ties

The perfect solution...................put the lid back on it and put it back under your desk( where no one sees it) letting it gather dust until you next feel the need to add something, as I did...........Geforce 8600GT 1024MB on board yesterday.

You know, those being just power cables, and only three conductors, it would be pretty easy (and safe) to extend them by splicing, either with crimp connectors or solder splices. Just make sure you use the same (or heavier) gauge cable.
It's worth doing- the rest of the wiring is so tidy (except for that badly-trimmed ties), it's kind of a shame about that short jumper. Also, it is under a little tension, which is not good. Could be really bad if you lose that CPU fan and don't know it... Shocked

Tape for dressing cables... Angry

I've killed people for less than that...! (spits on floor) Gooey, sticky, mess, and a major PITA to service.

Only time to put tape on cables is when you have to pull it through pipe, etc... but even then: only on the end!!

("Hmmm... they pulled two of the wrong cables here.... well, we'll just tape the right ones to the end and pull them out, bringing the new ones in.... oh, sh*t, some idiot put a wrap of tape every 2 feet before they pulled it in...!!!")

I aso have an "Antec 900" case and had the same problem with the MB aux 12volt lead being too short.
An inexpensive extension solved the problem nicely.
