I thought it would be fun to dedicate an entire week to Simworld entries. If you've got a nice quality pic or two showing a specific location, why don't you drop the link to it in this thread with a description of where it is, and we'll spend the week building up our Simworld atlas.  Smiley

I have millions of pics... but they all have planes in - does it have to be without?? If so, I'll be contributing more during January when I have a bit more free time. If there can be planes in shot, expect some this week  Cheesy

Here's a few pics of a flight over one of my favorite stomping grounds, the south east of France:

This is the nice glacial valley of the Isere, looking south toward Grenoble:

Overflying the Belledonne Massif, to the east of Grenoble:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou2.jpg
Grenoble, looking to the west:

Crossing into the Vercors Massif, continuing south:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou4.jpg
My a/c changes colors just as we are passing almost directly over one of my favorite landing spots: the altiport of La Motte Chalancon, in the hills of the Drome Provencale, with Mont Ventoux in the background:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou5.jpg
Passing over the Giant of the Provence, the Mont Ventoux:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou6.jpg
A new paintjob appears over Marseille bathing in the sunshine, with the Etang de Berre in the background:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou7.jpg
Clouds are forming over the marine harbor of Toulon:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/grtotou8.jpg

The Cote d'Azur will have to wait until later...

You pick the ones you like, I just thought I'd show the whole flight (except take-off and landing)
