I've been using Ultimate Defrag for several months now.......great program.......however, I'm NOT sure I'm using it correctly.........can anyone tell me the proper procedure to set up FS9 on the outer rings.......I've tried consolidating and file type defrags.........and I THINK I've got the FS files set up for high performance, but, I'm not exactly sure IF I'm doing it correctly.......sure doesn't look like it when the defrag is over and I look at the "disk"........ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!  I've googled and searched the disktrix site for help, but, to no avail..........

Tools>Options>General Tab>Check Custom in the High Performance section>Select Files>Choose whatever file/folder etc. you would like to be moved to an outer track>consolidate (your choice whether you want it to respect existing high performance files Wink) and you are pretty much done. You might want to remove it from the high performance list after though, so it doesn't move it again and again. Wink

If you need any other help, just ask. Smiley
