...I'm always perplexed as to why World War 2 Luftwaffe planes are largely ignored by the designers.( except in payware).
I'm thinking specifically of the Dornier Do 17, Heinkel HE111, Junkers Ju 88 or the Messerschmitt Bf 110.

Now I have a Junkers Ju88...it's not too bad...but it's not like the other above planes are mysterious and rare..they were part of the German Spearhead at the Battle Of Britain, and I just find it's curious that we're tripping over C-47's, B-17's , Spitfires and Mustangs yet finding these other planes is so difficult.

Yes that's true, nearly none of the old lovely fighters we made are existing for FS  Cry
Oh BTW: With "We" I mean Germans, I myself wasn't living there yet and I think I can be happy about that, though I never saw those planes there fly....  Wink

If you're running FS9 then most of the CFS2 ones work just fine Wink
We've got some lovely freeware German planes here from that era, one of my favourites is the Me-108. That is FUN Cool

...
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

No , the reason I didn't mention the Junkers 52 is because I didn't want it. I've got a very good one. I'm only after the planes mentioned. And the Heinkel 111 is $60.  Roll Eyes

Think I'll take up Ozzy's suggestion and go raking though the CFS2 folders...hopefully they won't be too 'cartoonish'.

I could always load up IL2...but I want to fly these things to and from places I know.

The Aeroplane Heaven BF-109E is rather nice - http://www.simviation.com/fs2004vintage50.htm

On the same page there is also a JU87 and a Do217 but I haven't tried them yet.  Wink

I already have the first two...but I'm certainly going to give that Dornier a try.

Just a head's up.
I found a cracking Heinkel 111 at Avsim  (gc_he11h6.zip) Check it out.. ( when asked to disable the CFO_FUEL_DUMP.Gau  disable it, or your sim will crash..)
( don't be put off by the FS2002 ,,it's all good )
