I've "heard"  Roll Eyes that certain games perform better on Vista Ultimate than they do on one of the lesser featured flavors of Vista. I'm not too certain about the source of this information and was wondering if anyone knows this to be the case? If it is true, would the same hold true with Windows XP? (i.e. Professional vs. Home)

I have both the Pro and Home versions of XP, and was wondering which to install on the system I'm building.

Depends on what your system is and what games you will be playing. My computer just loves Vista and so do I and it runs just great. But for others it's terrible. If you are running mostly/only new high end games (like FSX Crysis etc) then you probably want Vista. If you are running older versions of FS and older games then maybe XP but FS9 and FSX work just great on Vista for me.
