AI Booster (Read 730 times)

now i usually do my own overclocking, but my mobo came with AI Booster. I tried messing around with it (i don't fully trust OS overclocking, BIOS all the way) trying out the NOS and such, but every time i overclock or underclock, the computer freezes and refuses to respond without popping the CMOS.

is AI Booster worth trusting. just looking for opinions.

AI boosters are typically unstable. they are for people who do not know how to use a BIOS correctly to make adjustments. I shut down ALL AI overclocking ability in the BIOS so those program wont work and manually tweak my systems. AI boosters rarely if ever allow you to hit higher speeds than doing it manually and are usually unstable anyway when they do.
