10000lb bomb problems (Read 1321 times)

I have recently downloaded the 10000lb bomb file from Simviation but I'm having serious problems. When I tried to select it for the first time it immediatly exited the simulator. Now I cannot get on my simulator at all. Do I have to reinstall the whole sim???? Anyone got any advice??? Help needed!!! Simon.

No you just need to sort out the XDP file in the aircraft folder

</Loadout>
<Loadout Name="(1)upkeep" MissionType="Strike">
<Hardpoint ID="7" PylonType="pylon_null" PayloadType="AvHistory_gb_DepthBomb_Upkeep" Quantity="1" />
</Loadout>
</Loadouts>

Most likely cause is the

PayloadType="AvHistory_gb_DepthBomb_Upkeep"

where the name of the XDP file (name of the bomb) in the Weapons folder does not match the payload type name (see above) in the aircraft XDP file in the Loadout section

</Loadout>payload starts at beging of next line
<Loadout Name="(1)upkeep" MissionType="Strike">
<Hardpoint ID="7" PylonType="pylon name for bomb or use pylon_null" PayloadType="Your Bomb Name Here" Quantity="1" />
</Loadout>payload finishs here
</Loadouts>finishs off all payloads

Each Bomb loadout must have this
