All I can say is I'd want more than 10hp if I was spending this much dough on a car!

The oldest Rolls-Royce in the world – a 1904 10hp open two-seater – was sold for a record £3,521,500 to an unnamed bidder in an auction of classic cars at the Olympia exhibition centre. It was the fourth Rolls-Royce made at the company’s factory in Manchester in 1904 and is one of only four examples of the model known to survive. It made its debut in Paris in December 1904 – the year that Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce began their partnership – and was first shown at Olympia in February 1905. It has taken part in the London to Brighton run.
