I remember back in the mid-seventies when I got my first SLR, I tried to come up with some low light shots quite similar to these....fine shot Kris......

I used a floating candle (looks like you did too) like these from this old packaging ad on an e-bay sale (I think the subjects looks quite similar)........ I used film back then and was shooting in B/W to hone my camera skills affordably........I wish I had the negs now.

These are just ordinary tealight-cups... placed on my coffeetable. Nothing fancy!

But the floating candles sure look cool ( and very seventies!). Must be great to experiment with...
