Here's my rejects from this months SSC. I added some comments on why I didn't chose them.

This one doens't really have the right colors to it. It doesn't really convey any sense of acceleration this way.

This airplane is not capable of acceleration.Okay, I really considered entering this shot, if the tail would have been on the shot, which I couldn't manage to do without distorting the perspective.

People drive with their helmets open on motorcycles at 120 kmh in the rain without getting hurt by falling rain. Not that I know of anyway.
