Its a local tradition in our town, for which the town is well known, yes its the portishead lights.

It was very well done this year, good fireworks this year, and also we got Carol Vorderman to turn the lights on!!!!, she lives locally though so..... see my rant in the pilot lounge about the buses chaos at it, only downside to this years event.

When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return – Leonardo da Vinci.

Sorry, my best friend lives in Portishead (or as I call it....'in the middle of nowhere') so I give it a lot of stick...

To be honest, those lights look a hell of a lot better than the rather feeble attempt on Park Street (in Bristol) this year...
