I couldn't think of a more fitting forum to put this topic under as it involves the need for a "cage"... a Shark Cage to be exact!!!
Read on...
While trying to figure out a way to distract the Korean Army, I look out to the water and gather my thoughts...
I know!! I'll go for a swim!!
I was amazed at the abilities this suit has!! I can hold my breath for quite a long time!!
Just look at all of the coral!!
Why, I bet I can swim the backstroke with it!! The view is just phenomenal out here!!
Hmmm... My sensors are going off as if I was just spotted... but I don't see anyon...
Nice fishy... My... WHAT SHARP TEETH YOU HAVE!!
AWESOME GAME!! THE DEVELOPERS HAVE THOUGHT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING!!

I tried to use the guns, but to no avail... I guess once you're that deep in water, you need your hands for swimming!

Did you taste like chicken?
Looks truly awesome! I wonder what it would look and run like with DX9c and a GF7900, E6600 2-core...
Someone told me it would be 'alright'....would it be a slide show, or run but 'all sliders to the left?'

The game is a blast to play!!
I've only played it in Single Player mode though. The graphics are phenomenal and the shots you've seen are all DX9c. The developers had really spent some time with this project, especially in the Korean soldiers' responses to you shooting at them... Pretty comical IMO... Their Crytek game engine seems to flow pretty smoothly, even with all of the sliders set on high.

Krigl you should be able to achieve medium settings at a comfortable FPS. as long as the graphics card is a PCI-E, and as long as you have 1gb of ram at least, preferably 2GB it should be no problem.
looks good, i have just started crysis myself and its brilliant, just need the time to really sit down and truly enjoy it

I'm playing it on a 3.4 Gig w/HT , 2 gigs of DDR2 mem, and a GeForce 6800 PCI-E X16 card with onboard 256 DDR2. I can play it 1024X768 but have to play it with the slides to the left or the low setting. It's not bad per say unless a movies plays in between levels, then it goes to sttutering. I got Soldier of Fotune Payback the same day and can run it almost max though. Ah A sign of age on my rig for sure. I'm looking into bumping up the mem to 4 gigs and stepping up to a GeForce 8600 GT PCI-E X16 with 512 DDR3 mem onboard the vid card. As I can't have a new system for at least another year I'm hopeing this will do the trick for now. Thats why I haven't been in here for awhile. My FS9 has decided not to work at all and as it's not I'm thinking of doing a complete reformat as one has never been done to my rig since I got it almost three years ago. Once I get the memory and card it might be nice to work on a clean slate. I am hopeing that I may finally be able to run FSX at a decent level with the new changes. That will be nice but will have to see.
