I made the drive (Tampa, FL to L.A., CA) solo in 60 hrs door-to-door (about 2,800 miles for the whole trip). Actual time on the road (including gas stops and being stuck in traffic) was 40 hrs. That puts me at an average speed of 70 mph. These guys shave 9 hours off that and averaged 90 mph which, considering having to got 0 mph for some time when getting gas or getting stuck in traffic is absolutely insane.
