Okay so it's a bit of a misleading title.
Anyway, I absolutly love the new LED side lights on the R8, I have seen a couple of examples now avaliable for other cars including mine. The question is, should i? Also does anyone know if they replace the standard low beam lights or are used secondary to them?

Actually saying that, I think my rear tyres are needing replacing, I have had a lot of problems lately with them spinning when leaving a junction, which is especially problematic coming out of my road as its uphill so requires a fair amount of welly to get out onto the main road, on the plus side I can now catch and control these slides and spins perfectly Lips Sealed Grin

No ,no, no, - lowest gear possible & lots of revs! I believe your nearest McDonalds drive-thru will have  skidpan in the car park for practising such manouvres - I know mine has...   Grin Grin

In hindsight, I don't think your allowed on the McDonalds skidpans with anything above a 1.4, so I guess your out of luck there Craig.

i personally hate aftermarket lights that copy other oem designs.  things like lexus (lex-arse) lights and angel eyes make you look like a chav, as it gives the impression your trying to make your car something its not.

having said that, you drive a bmw dont you?  you might get away with angel eyes in that case.

if you want led lights, buy led bulbs and use them instead of your standard filament bulb.

bare in mind this is my opinion, and remember its your car.  do what you want to do to it   Smiley

We own a Lexus...So screw you... Roll Eyes Tongue Grin

I prefer LED tail lamps in any case...They appear to respond faster than the regular filament lights...And they have a longer life span as well... Smiley
