I installed the D.510 (Sorry, I do not know the owner right now) and it is in "Quick Combat" but I cannot find it for "Mission Creator"?
Just spotted this. Open the DP file of the D.510 in Notepad & check the entered_service= entry under the [MISC_DATA] section. The date must be earlier than the date of your mission or it won't be listed in the MB.
Quote:Also, I installed a Chinese I-16 Type 10 (Cannot remember the creator again) and everytime I try to use it in either Quick Combat" or "Mission Creator" the simulator freezes, the screen goes black, and a window pops up stating something that there has been an error in CFS2 and it must turn off? I checked the error in the error report and it states, "COCUM~1\MYNAME~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\bc18_appcompat.txt".
I once knew the probable cause & fix for this problem but it's been a long time & my memory is not what it was. If you tell me where to download the aircraft I'll check it out for you.*
*PS. Think I found the Tip 10 package here.
http://www.simviation.com/cfs2aircraft54.htmThe Aircraft.cfg title= name is far too long for the database to handle. Try shortening it.
For example:
title=I-16 Ishak Tip 10 "Pilot unknown, Training unit, CAF, Sinkiang, China, 1940"
could become something like
title=I-16 Tip 10 China, 1940
