This is the tail section that is all unusable cargo space. It's bigger than the cargo space on a C-130! The tour guide told me that during the test flight, Howard Hughes had two engineers inside monitoring this area. During the short flight, there were structural problems, and the engineers feared that the tail section was going to come off.

I also didn't relize it was that big, the planes under the wing look like toys.

The DC-3 is a big plane... It looks like a toy next to that... THING

Even the SR-71 from the other thread looked tiny
