Bella Coola Autumn Airshow/Fly-in

Saturday 17th November, 17:00 GMT, Bella Coola (CYBD).

...

The show will be held at Bella Coola (CYBD), in the beautiful Bella Coola Valley. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you download and install Holger Sandmann's wonderful scenery; FS2004 scenery found here, FSX scenery found here. (Make sure you read and follow the install instructions carefully or the scenery won't show up right.)

The show will be held on Saturday the 17th November 2007 at 17:00 GMT (12:00 EST) - See here for the time zone converter.

As usual, the show will be on the Official Simviation Server, IP address:  85.10.244.109

To make a change, this airshow is PROPS AND HELICOPTERS ONLY! No Jets allowed!

The Fly-in:

We will meet at Tsacha Lake (CAE4) at 17:00 GMT and will depart shortly afterwards at 17:10 GMT. We will then fly to Anahim Lake (CAJ4) where we will Touch and Go before heading to Bella Coola (CYBD). The flight is approximately 85nm and will take about 30 minutes to complete. We will arrive at 17:40 GMT and the show will begin at 17:45 GMT. More details plus a full map and flightplan will be posted soon.

If you are interested in flying please post a link to your display aircraft here. (maximum of two solo displays plus one or two formation displays)

Hope to see you there!  Smiley

P.S: Mic, will you be able to provide us with a BBMF performance? Also, fancy another crack at the eagles? And Alex, if you want to do the Corsair/Mustang display with me then that would be cool.  Wink

I will definitely be flying the P-51 Mustang, probably Jumpin Jacques, and the DeHavilland Chipmunk. Hopefully the Eagles can scrape together a performance too. Wink

...installed the Bella Coola Scenery correctly, (as you do.. Wink..).

Opppssss... Shocked.....now I have roads and streams, etc, appearing in, and crossing the Lake and Rivers, and the banks of the water are in the wrong places!

It's possible that there is now a conflict between my original FS Global Scenery mesh, VOZ, and the modified Bella Coola mesh!

So...it looks like removing the Bella Coola Scenery (and files), and replacing it with my four original Scenery files!

...Never mind. It was a nice try!... Wink...!

F...G-BPLF.... Cool...!

P.S.
Done!...All back to normal again, and everything now is in the right place!... Smiley...!

I cant see that there was very much improvement/difference with the Bella Coola Scenery installed... Roll Eyes...!
My existing Scenery and Mesh is OK... Smiley...!

Its not a race, you don't need a head start.  Wink

I'm assuming all those that are saying 'making the journey in...' will also be displaying in that aircraft...?

I have the feeling that as I sit in my comfy Paper Aeroplane parked on the grass, supping my glass of ice-cold Beer, and enjoying my Ice Cream, (courtesy of Kat), I will be observing the usual gaggle of default Cessna 172's flying around in front of me.... Wink...!

(One of the delights of Multiplayer Airshows!)... Wink...!

Due to a lack of heavier types, I'm gonna display the Avro York rather than the Chippie, I'll save that for another show.  Wink

Can you put together a list of aircraft [with links] so that we can all be able to download the addons without having to read through multiple pages in a single thread? It gets quite confusing, especially when some of us have a habit of changing out minds. Wink

I'm posting this airshow over at FSGV because I find it quite interesting.

PS: I'll come to the show with my Hummer. Grin

I don't care if they all look like default Cessna 172's (which they will!), as long as you can supply some nice Ice Cream again, Kat... Smiley...!
