Hello all, I'm a fairly new member but being Located at KGCN (Grand Canyon Airport) we get some entertaining visitors...
anything from Mil c130's, 737's even Fighters doing "Low Approaches" to GA P-51's prv Jets, Etc...
Anyways, Over some time I've collected a couple photos of guys coming in.. and Figured I would share..
This is what we fly, Cessna T207/a Stationairs.. This ones taken out at Monument Valley (UT25)
Military 737 doing Touch 'n Goes.
Military c-130 One of the various c130's... We get Arm, Marines, Air force.. etc. Due to the Density altitude, they come in about once a month for training... (DA can reach over 1100 even though we are only 6600)
Papillion Helicopter.. (Local Air tour company)
P-51 (Both taken at Valle, 40G)

Very nice. Shame they're not bigger. Many photos posted on this forum were taken with a similar camera to yours. You should be able to get a reasonable quality at 800 pixel width. You need to adjust the compression when saving the reduced image.
If you have nothing better try resizing/saving the originals in

Great shots, we have to get you straighted out on sizing, I also use the 400D, and use Infanview to resize and when you hit save as there will be a slide bar that you move until you get it to the right size. Try it, if you have any questions, there are some great people in here that will help you out. Mark

and I would say I'm a Local 'Photographer' but nothing professional. I Do have a website of my Photography (Family Business really) but I'm to new to know if posting a link to that is allowed.. If so I will later on (At the moment I don't have much Aviation photography on the site though.. I mostly shoot landscape)

heh.. "Green Weenie #5 needs some fuel" Is generally how the call to the Fuelers go... and if someone doesn't have us in sight, its "Kawasaki Teem Green Cessna"
As for Lens, right now I cant really afford anything, so I'm shooting with the Kit 70-300mm AF, Non IS, telephoto (Canon) but I've been looking for a good deal on the 70-200, and the 100-400mm (as well as looking into the 1.4 TC)

Nice shots, Jon. Do you happen to have the reg on that 736? It's definitely ex-Lauda. I'd like to find out which branch it's operating for.

Thanks. Did a little digging and found it's being leased by Lauda to the Navy to train pilots on the E-6B platform.

Nice shots. Lol "Green Weenie" is a very common term used in the USMC for getting screwed over
