You should get out fo your dark room a lot more
LOL Yeah it is too bright i guess
Not on my eyes though Aussies are used to big bright things
Maybe i could tone down the Sun Rays

THANKS! I did the heat shimmer on both engines it's just hard to see on the other one

This is a good start.....much better than your first edits....(remember F15 speed
)
A couple of things.....I would use the dodge and burn tools to make the aircraft more 3D, and the contrast/brightness is a bit off (It would be much darker considering the subject is back lit)
I hope you don't mind but I've had a go at making it a bit moodier.....because I'm bored today

Added diffuse glow and messed with levels / colours.
And some burn / dodge tools.
