Here is my Oct. colors of fall entry. Tell me what you think. I've noticed the duplicate registration on the tail.

Before I comment on your shot, I think you can probably remove the registration on the tail by going into the aircraft.cfg file and look for the atc_id= line. Remove the registration number and save it.

I had a Baron texture to replace the default one and even though I had it overwrite the files, I ended up with one large registration number with the smaller registration number underneath it. I solved the problem by deleting the registration number listed under atc_id=

I think there's also something in the options to not have the registration number not show.

As to your shot, I think the colors of the AC are very vivid with the surrounding elements. It's interesting how you panned in close enough to see just a bit of the wing float on the right wing. To leave it out all together would have made the AC look a little awkward, but I like it like it is.

Overall, a very nice screenshot!!

or when you are picking your aircraft (in the hanger) go to Details icon and then un-check the box that says Show tail Number. A lot easier Grin

I like your skies especially with the dark and light clouds mixing together Shocked The ground textures look great but the tress look a little 2d but thats what everyones looks like right Grin The mountains and the view add a lot of depth too the shot Wink I like that

I hope no-one objects to me putting this into the Gallery on a "Fast Track". Although it didn't make the competition finals, it's a very creative and artistic shot.

Press view plane, then unclick the thing.  Do not mess with registration (as mentioned by Layne)

This was the absolute winner for me.  A shame it didn't make the finals (I have no idea why it didn't).  Clipper, please do so.

Since you highlighted my thread, I believe you mean me (aussie). No big deal really. Regardless, it was a one time event in doing that. There's a very good chance I'm going to dump the texture I now have on the Baron.

Don't say that. If you say and think that none of your shots will ever be a gallery shot, it will never happen.
