In FS9 i was able to change power etc. in FSX it won't let me save the settings thanks in advance

I'm guessing you have Vista. If so, that is the cause of the problem & not FSX. This might help. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1193372170;start=all
