I currently got FSX installed in a dual boot sys (XP and VISTA), installed under XP.
I'm also running a 8800GTX

1) Is there any real point in installing  Acceleration under XP?
2) Or, should I just  un-install my XP FSX and re-install under VISTA?

I should add that the only add-ons I have installed is UTX (Can and US) and some mesh.
Also, a few freeware aircraft that I wouldn't  mind too much if they became unusable under DX10/Acelleration.

To be honest, I'm leaning toward the latter option.

Acceleration works great with XP I am impressed with system performance. How does your GTX card run FSX in Vista mode?.  Cool

As per my origuinal post I have have FSX installed in XP.

However, under XP/DX9 it runs great.  The good performance is most likely due more to my Q6600  than the 8800GTX

If you have any desire to explore the new "DX10 Preview" mode of Acceleration, then install to Vista, otherwise stick with WinXP.

Well yeah.....
My question: Are any DX10 changes  really worth the trouble?
The changes in the  FXS DX10 "preview" seems to be extremely minor at best.
