I will be getting my first Payware aircraft this evening, and I want to know where the best place to start would be.

I am an AIRLINER pilot, so I want to see some nice AIRLINER suggestions, or make a suggestion as to which of the following I am looking to get.

Currently in dabate (In alphabetical order):

CaptainSim Boeing 707
CLS A330-200, 300 & A340-200, 300 package
Level D Simulations Boeing 767
PMDG 747-400

From that list, if you want simplicity, I'd say go with the CLS package...For almost complete systems modelling, go with the either the Level-D Sim 767 or the PMDG 747...Post if you have any further questions Wink

I would go for the Cap Sim 707 that is one detailed peice of kit!
Also the LD 767 that has lots of precision in it

OK, I have decided on the CLS A330-A340 package, as I am very much in the mood for a payware quality airbus model. I know it's rather simplistic, but with the current level of technology, what isn't these days?

A couple questions: What is the quality of this CLS package?

It's a marvelous package! The models are high detailed but FPS friendly...Great fun to fly in...If you fly long haul, you'll find the aircraft handle themselves beautifully...Look just as majestic in the air as they do on the ground...Here are some shots!

While I can't account for their A330/A340 series, I have their A300+A310+A300ST DC-10+KDC-10+KC-10 and F-117 packages. They are all good value for the price you pay. A bit lacking in terms of checklist procedures, and the VC textures are HORRIBLE (sorry, I just can't stand them - too grainy) but seemingly realistic flight dynamics, frame rate friendly models as noted before, lots of extra features (paintkits, tanker aircraft) and good external visuals.
