Just uploaded this 2-parter... sadly, it's all the video I have from my nearly 20 hours flying the "Airknocker" in southern California.

Great videos, Sean!!  Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!

If you were out there now I don't think you would be doing much flying!!  Sad

On the second video when you were on your final what was that thing the was coming across the runway?  It was hard to tell with the sunglare.

True 'dat; the smoke would be a problem... not to mention the swarms of aircraft either montoring or fighting the fires...  Shocked

It was a banner... the tow aircraft towing it doesn't really show up on the video.
He was crossing 26R to make a tight turn downwind at the end of 26L (which is much shorter); he dropped the banner on the "grass" alongside 26L as I was on short final.

I really enjoyed that, and the music fits the video just right. Thanks for posting. Mark

Oops- yeas, I'd forgotten about SimTeevee.
I just went to register now.
But it seems I can register, but not log in using those credentials... maybe it needs more time?

And is SimTeevee really appropriate for RL flight videos? I only see three there.
