I fly IFR airline routes for fun i have traffic set on 50% (i like having alot of traffic) but recently id get in a line for takeoff half the time the front plane is waiting for nothing then the 2nd plane waits............. every once in a while theres a real reason why they wait like a landing aircraft but the very next plane just sits there any one know whats wrong?

Try VATSIM: http://www.vatsim.net/

Be warned that you will need a payware aircraft to take full advantage of VATSIM.

Is this now happening at all airports or just some of the airports you visit? If 'some', could you list a few where it happens?

This was also a problem (bug) with ai in FS2004, where ai would remain at the 'hold short' point until, after 5 mins or so, they just vanish. This happened most often where there was a longish taxiway segment leading to a 'normal' hold short point.

The permanent fix was/is to edit the airport and shorten the final taxiway segment by adding a node closer to the hold short or adding an 'ILS hold short' point.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

Hey Slotback,

Would you explain, "Be warned that you will need a payware aircraft to take full advantage of VATSIM."
