Spit, you can enter as many as you like, as long as there's effort in the pics, and you present a relevant, historical anecdote along with it.  Smiley

I have mine already Lips Sealed Wink

I have an idea, if we're doing a museum why not make if for all types of aircraft like WWI, Cold War, Modern, Airliners. And in order to get the aircraft in the museum you have to show why it should be in there, through the history Smiley Just an idea Tongue

Ravang, ultimately, that's what we'll do. Great thought. Initially though, let's focus on a specific time period, then see how it goes. We could spend a lifetime posting WWII pics, recounting heroic events that transpired during that time and still not touch on a fraction of the many stories and events that came out of WWII. If we go for all time periods right away, the content of the museum will seem pretty diluted until many, many entries are accumulated, don't you agree? Maybe after a month or two we can add a second "period display" to the museum. What do you think?  Smiley

If everyone is calling their aircraft, I call the Grumman F8F Bearcat! I hope this choice is ok, the aircraft should just scrap into the WWII category. If not I can change!

Again, this is a great idea Clipper! Smiley

Thanks Mab, you don't really have to call your aircraft, as you can submit an aircraft that's already in the Museum. As long as the livery and historical description is different from those already posted.  Smiley
btw, the Museum is up and running, everyone please feel free to submit your "displays" anytime (as a reply) at the Museum.  Smiley

Great idea, but I'll wait until the right category comes along.

A splendid idea - and I'd like to enter my favorite aircraft. But how do I add the picture)s)? I understand the basic parameters, 800 wide, no more that 100 file size, but not how to actually post the pix. Is there a tutorial somewhere that covers this?
Many thanks if advance for any clues...

In this particular feature you have to post as a clickable thumbnail. I'll post a link to a tutorial on making thumbnails tomorrow when I get time, if someone hasn't already done it by then. Wink
