What would you think if we all created a permanent WWII Warbirds Museum, as a seperate section in the Gallery.  Here's the deal. I put up the Gallery "WWII Museum" header art ...shows a WWII aircraft and describes what we're trying to acheive.....everyone then posts a  WWII aircraft screenshot WITH a 2 or 3 line description of the history of said bird. You can repeat the same types of aircraft, you just have to put different historical facts and/or livery than anyone elses. You can put in pics of famous pilot aces, but again, the pic must be accompanied by a bit of descriptive text. Re-create dogfights if you like..maybe in MP... welcome too, as long as they're described historically. I'd set this up as a stickie until it was ready to go into the Gallery..that way everyone would  have access to it to post their work as a reply to the sticky. So...are you in or you're out?  Wink

I have a question, do we do different fighters, or can we do different repaints and the history behind the repaints/pilots Huh

repaints and their history for the same aircraft are fine Ravang, as long as we put up a wide variety of aircraft as well.  Smiley

In that case I claim the Aeroplane Heaven spitfire specifically. Wink

P.S. Should we post our shots in this thread or in a new thread in the Sudio? Smiley

Ah well, I'm gonna be showin off some of the earlier marks (1a through 9) since they're my faves. Haven't decided which one(s) to portray yet.

P.S. Are we allowed to enter more than one of these mini-histories?
