For pity's sake guys, give it a rest. Apart from anything else, what's the point?

I attempted to ask this question nicely, but I guess some people saw otherwise.
Are you joking?
You came here for a b*tch. The 'question' you asked, was a rhetoric so you could spread your unfounded dislike of a very respected FS contributer onto other people and 'hope' that someone would agree with you, tell you that it was all alright, and how it couldn't have possibly been your fault that some big bad man on another forum was nasty to you because CLEARLY, you would NEVER do ANYTHING to upset ANYONE.
Go and look at safety figures for Boeing, I think you may be unpleasantly surprised.
OK, man, seriously, chill out. This topic is not worth someone (anyone for that matter) exploding over.
Airbus is a great manufacturer, I like their planes, my first Payware piece for FS was Airbus aircraft. I am impartial, and I don't give a hoot about someone elses bias unless they wave it in your face like an unhinged loon with a ten pounds of Mary Jane in his lungs.
Boeing vs. Airbus is a frivolous topic at best, and there is no need to start an arguement over it.

Imagine me waving a fist at you. Why must you provoke such aggravation in such a friendly forum as this?
Oh, by the way, I am not going to partake in this arguement. I only posted because I was getting a little uneasy over Alex's last few posts.

Its the A v. B thats getting to me, I'm pretty much impartial aswell, its the tone of the post and just the general ignorance it implies.
The main reason I'm P*ssed with him is because he's bashing someone who is a fantastic contributer to the FS community, people like him are half the reason lots of good developers stop producing for us, so what if his attitude sucks?
I probably took the A v. B too far, and it wasn't about that, it was the pettiness it represented, and the fact what he said had NO factual evidence at all, its not a debatable thing, numbers are numbers. And after I (and Spitfire Boy) pointed it out, he changed it to something even more childish just to attract attention and irritate people, which to me shows HIS attitude is sh*t.

Understood, all I thought was you were starting to get a little bit roweled up there.
I don't like A vs. B either, but it's happened, and we must learn to cope, but there are perfectly good reasons to get mad at the kind of people I stated above.
(I also posted in this topic after Felecis deleted the first post, so I may also have been a little misinformed.)

I'm not promoting aggravation...Me thinks this thread will be locked very soon

obviously the original post has been deleted by the poster, due to this flame war thats evolving in a very nice manner
but if he thinks "airbus sucks" is it not his right to voice his opinion? its not hurting anyone.

Indeed he has the right to voice his opinion... and his opinion is: "OK I think I did something wrong, so let my original opinion be removed while I quietly slink away."
Like you said, not hurting anybody.

Oh god I totally forgot that if its someones opinion its not offensive! Silly me, I mean, when has anyones opinion ever upset anyone?
You're right, you're totally right.
I'm not upset by the damned thing, the main thing that got me was the whole posters attitude, alright, I used the A vs. B to prove a point, I'm not offended, or pro A or B, but I would react equally if someone said the same thing about either, but what people don't seem to realize is that what his avatar REPRESENTED.
I severely doubt you would find anyone on this forum who is respected putting anything so one sided in their avatar, weather or not it's about aircraft manufacturers. The mods over at POSKY do the same job as the ones here at SimV, and I respect anyone who devotes time and effort towards making places like this a better environment for us all, so if I heard over at another site someone bashing the mods here, that would sure as hell tick me off too. Maybe, just maybe, if the poster justified what he said, and maybe said it in a mature way, with nothing else in his sig or otherwise that would show they are not prone to be one-sided and single minded, I may consider their thoughts, not agree, consider, after all, it's an opinion right?
As I've said before, I think Yosuke has a little bit of lee-way with being slightly rude to people after all he's done, and the way half the people act over at POSKY I don't blame him. Much the same as with pete or any of the other mods, we all get angry, why can't they vent it too? Just because they are a moderator it doesn't remove them from HUMAN emotions, and seeing as they are on these forums more often than the rest of us, and see more material than most of us, when they see a topic that annoys them, they should be allowed to say what they think.
I've said what I wanted to say, but I stick by what I said, the opening poster came here for a vent, so why can't Yosuke do it on his own forum? Atleast (from what I've seen) he can do it in a significantly more mature way than Felix managed to do in this thread.
