I'd just like to bring this one up, after looking around. It turns out this is the 4th time this year Mclaren have been fined for doing something wrong or having something illegal on their car. And I dont believe that includes the spygate crap. Roll Eyes

I take it you won't be waving your silver flags on Sunday then Craig?  Grin

I think it's becoming obvious I dont like Mclaren. Shocked
I really dont mind/care if Lewis wins the title, the only reason I would like to see it go elsewhere is because I've got a fiver on him not doing it. I followed him through gp2. I was there for his first ever lap in an F1 car, I posted the pictures last year. It just annoys me who he's driving for. Yes I dont like the attitude he's developing but he's a racer so it's to be expected.
Sadly though this isn't the FIA covering themselves at all, it's the track official who is appointed to make these decisions covering himself from any backlash. If this were left to Max, Lewis would be starting P22. Roll Eyes I guess there will be no inbetween.

Because he also got stuffed with other penalties.
But hey that only happend after people got bored with the fact that, bernie had created the situation that he's now creating with Lewis.. Let the money maker get away with the little things in life. You all remember how bored you were with F1 when schumi dominated. Lets hope you dont get that way if Lewis does the same. But of course, he's British so at least the brits will be happy. So if he wants the title, Lewis has to do what Michael did last year.
It is possible. He seems to be going fast enough it seems.

If he does it, it will be regarded as one of the greatest drives ever, and would be well deserved. My money's on Kimi at the moment.

the big question will be, will lewis' car get to the end. A gearbox problem tends to be terminal. Reset of the systems or not.

Okay this is the weirdest gp I've seen in a while. Could Alonso be playing the title to raikonnen? He knows Lewis needs 5th to win the title.  If he drops to 5th and holds lewis in 6th then Kimi wins. Or I suppose he could be trying to help Lewis into 5th.

I'd like to be the fly on the wall in the McLaren conference room when they get back. They could write a new book - "How to ensure both your drivers lose the World Championship (in the space of a fortnight!)"

Well done Kimi, hard luck Lewis. Hopefully the McLaren house will be in order by next March.

The best F1 season for a very long time. Well done to Kimi, if it couldn't have been Lewis then I'm glad it wasn't the whining Alonso.

A well deserved championship & I am genuinely happy for Kimi, he always seems like one of the nice guys. Shame for Lewis, but the people who really lost the championship for him were Mclaren in China.

Lets look forward to another cracking season next year.
