This is a pretty cool game.

The invasion fleet, waiting for the go ahead...

...

They didn't have to wait long before the order was issued...

...

Sensors indicated a small enemy fleet, hiding in the shadow of the planet

...

It was a quick and deadly fight

...

...

The planet was secured and the mothership and the carriers went into orbit.

...

I still have the game sitting inside the CD case. That game was loads of fun. I think there were fan sites, but when I checked those sites, they seemed rather inactive [or maybe I had bad timing].

Yay! another HW2 fan!

I wish my comp was slightly better, if it were I'd mod the torp frigs to shoot lots more torps but do the same overall damage. Something is just really sexy about having tons of missiles being traded.

I remember the original "Homeworld" from the 1990's (PC/Commodore Amiga?) and was always fascinated by the designs, and vast array of bright colours of the various ships... Smiley...!

Never did buy the game tho'.... Cry...!

F....Amiga A1200.... Cool...!
