And just in time for the holidays, too!  So, you'd better not cry, etc., Ian and the guys are comin'. . .  to town.  Hard Rock Cafe, Hollywood, Florida, USA, December 13th.  Well, hope it goes off better than last time, June 1999, at the Sunrise 'not so' Musical Theatre, the sound spread was mush, maybe due to the round shape of the auditorium.  I think Hard Rock's audit is better.

Still, nothing like the Tull of the early 70's, wow, I saw some great, great concerts here, included two nights in a row once from the 3rd row, Miami Jai Alai Fronton, comfy seats too!  And once in some stadium in Tampa, with a large TV screen (Tullevision) so you could see it all well, preceded by Robin Trower.  But the absolute best Tull gig was back in about 1975 maybe, also the JA Fronton, Tull performed without the usual stage act and antics, just playing their brains out, and just jaw dropping stuff.

The Tull lineup has changed over the years, but guitarist Martin Barre has always been with the group.  I don't know if he still is, tho.  If not, he'll be missed.

That's cool- I always liked them.
Only time I ever saw them live was seven or eight years ago in New York-  Anderson's voice was weak and reedy, and just as I was thinking "oh well, he's just too old to sing now, I guess" he said something between songs about having a little problem with his voice that night.
In true form, he also said "I apologize for my terrible singing tonight, but I think my flute playing has been f*cking fantastic..." Cheesy

And it was. Grin
