Scenery Mesh Question (Read 498 times)

Dear CFS2ers:

Is it possible to get rid of the "town" looking scenery mesh? I really do not like the look of it. I want to add "towns" using the infrastructer with the GSL Editor.

Also, when I use the infrastructure scenery, mostly buildings, I do not see the buildings until I am right on top of or really close to them. Also, the Eiffel Tower looks like a big Christmas Tree?

Any help is greatly appreciated

The buildings which are CFS1 objects have different view distances, which cannot be changed. Some are worse than others.

Have a look in the Simouthouse library for city buildings for CFS2 by Wolfi, there are some there that were made a while back.

As for the town looking mesh, that is a case of textures. There is also in the Simouthouse library an update to make the towns look more european.
