It starts to load the elevation data and just freezes.

Can someone please help Cry

How lond have you waited for it to unfreeze? Do you have other programs running? If it's on multiplayer, you should try to turn off any firewall

well i've just discovered that it only happens when i'm not on multiplayer and when i chose i airport from victoria, australia.

then i go to task manager and it says : fs2002 not responding. hope this helps

and only fs is running

Hmm, so you can start from any other airport except that one? Have you installed all SP's? (if any)
That's odd, I don't own fs2002 so I can't really help much, sorry. Embarrassed
