Cheesy  What is the best flap position for takeoff in a 747, CRJ700, any passenger jet.  Is there a rule of thumb?

This is weird...you should try Fix option by insert disk(dvd) 1 and 2..

EDIT:I missunderstood the post I though you meant the game, sometimes I think my english isn't good enough these days ...My apologies Embarrassed

Press the F10 key. F10 will bring up the kneeboard. Find the reference chart for the aircraft by pressing the appropriate button on the kneeboard. Review the reference chart for the aircraft, it will tell you appropriate speeds, and flap settings for take-off as well as landings.
