FSDS3 - No bolean? (Read 547 times)

I have a bad problem with the 787 fuselgae I'm working on:
I now have a very well shaped fuselage, but windows, doors etc. are still missing.
So I shaped a window: used a tube, 1 section, open ends (why should I close them?!), and I believe it were 8 points or sth like that. I selected both and wanted to use the bool operations for cutting the windows out.
BUT.......... this function was greyed out, not available, or however you call it.
What is wrong??? Help me! (I hope either Felix reads this or there is another guy, that knows how to help me with FSDS..... Cheesy)

MAke sure you're in PART mode.

MAKE SURE that you have named the "cutting"  part "TOOL".  If it's tool.1 or anything else, it won't be recognized.

No I haven't updated yet. Just to make sure I won't get some bad results in future:
If I install the update now, before e.g. adding animations or special parts etc.,
it should not be incompatible to the FSDS3.5 FSX features yet, right?

The FSDS3.5 UPDATE dsoes not replace your FSDS3.  You can open FSDS3.5 models in FSDS3 and vice versa.
