Am I correct in saying that when arriving at a multi-runway airport, FSX's ATC will always assign you the same runway to land on each time you visit?

From my experience anyway this seems true.

If so, then is it possible to find out which runway will be assigned for any given airport (ie is it stored in some file?).

This would greatly assist my flight planning, especially with regards to programming the FMC. I assume in real life an airport has a normal runway for landing and this would only change if weather, winds or other circumstances dictate, ie planes normally land on runway 27 at Heathrow but occasionally this changes to 9 if the winds shift. I want to find out this 'normal' runway for any given airport.

Anyone got any ideas?

it might be putting you to the pattern that airport has, for example, as briscoe airfeild, one i go to alot, they want me to land on the same runway as they do in real life

I think it depends where your are. when i am going to land at Toronto's Pearson International when i approach from east or west i am assigned to land on 33R or 33L but when i am coming in the from the north or south it is different
