I love RFactor it takes up about 60 gigs on my HD with all of the mods from rfactorcentral. I also love Live For Speed,

probably the best physics based racing you can get in a sim. When I get home( I am in Seattle) I will post screenshots from both games. If your a racing fan you should definately own both games.
Great screenshots HK keep them coming.
LONG LIVE THE CAGE!

I've played LFS but found its physics to be acceptable, but a notch below the SIMBIN titles. I've not played rFactor.

I have all of the SIMBIN titles also and am anxiously awaiting RACE07. Something about the physics always feels light to me(The cars don't feel heavy enough). But I still enjoy them. rFactor has questionable physics but is just a blast to play. All of the mods are fun and the cars have a good feel to them. The graphics are top notch with some great effects, and the control is spot on.
If you haven't tried LFS lately I say you give the newest version S2x a try. It is still the best sim in my opinion. The cars each have a very distinct feel and weight to them that I just can't find in any other sim.
What do you use to drive? I switch between my Microsoft FF2 joystick and a MOMO FF wheel.

Is there an LFS S2x demo? Last time I went poking about for one all I could find was the 1st gen. Love the multiplayer interface on that one but the physics are weak. It's nice to be able to get rid of wreckers in MP.
I've got the classic Logitech Driving Force Pro. Absolutely love the wheel (and it's nice having a lot of buttons). I just wish I could configure the pedals to work as rudder control in FS9. Unfortunately no matter what I do they always end up reversed. I used to drive with the stick but since switching to a wheel I haven't gone back.

Is Race07 the first game on SIMBIN's new engine? If it's only the old ISI engine then I probably have enough horsepower to run it. If it's on a new engine I'll probably need a hardware upgrade.
I think there's a demo out so I'll have to DL and give it a try. Looking forward to those formula cars, gotta love the in-helmet cam. I'm still hoping that SIMBIN will one day do an ACO sim of the LeMans24 and various similar series' (is ALMS too much to ask?)

Yes it is on the new engine, but give the demo a try very configurable. I am in Seattle playing it on my laptop with an x1400 in it. Can't turn it up like I can at home and it's still purty! If you use steam you can download the demo on that.

I DL'd the demo and it runs okay on minimal graphics settings. I've gotta play it a bit before I decide whether or not it's acceptable for me. Incredible game though (as expected from SIMBIN).
