Are the FS9 sound files compatible with  FSX?  Have many good ones in FS9 and would like to use them in FSX. Undecided

Which sound files are you talking about?
Sounds from the main fs sound folder or sounds from a specific aircraft?
In either case I am fairly certain there is no difference between the files from FS9 and FSX.
I am sure that you can not use edit voice packs from FS9 Cool

Thanks Gary.I meant the engines etc sound for specific A/C. Will give some a try in FSX
