Hey Guys, wishing that your days are good to you.

Here's a wish that as far as I know don't exist.   If it does, pass the info on to me and the others,  if it don't, perhaps someone can put a "bug" in the ear of some programers.

When and while my super-duper computer that I use for my flying is down and being repaired or upgraded,  I'm lost - - -I can't fly.   THAT'S a DISASTER.   What I " NEED " is a small flight simulator that has an airstrip and a small plane or two that I can practice my touch and go landings.   No scenery other than right around the airstrip with a cloud or two perhaps.   Something that don't need much oomph  [power] to run it.  Roll Eyes    My 2nd PC is such a  wimp it struggles to just turn on  Smiley

Anyway, - - - you get the picture.   Any help ?

     Have a good one,   caveman

Hey Guys, You've made my day.

I had my old copy of "Fly" and it crashed right away.   It never did play right for me though.   However,  I still have my copy of FS 2002.  Smiley     BUT - - - this sorry 2nd PC of mine might not run it.  Roll Eyes

Thanks Guys for the help.   I hope to have my good PC back sometime next week - - - I hope - - -I hope- - -I hope.    I'm also having the " Guy" upgrade my drivers and install 2 GB more of RAM,  then I'll have 4 GB of RAM.  Sometime soon I wish to add another 7900GTX.   Little by little I'm getting there.

Thanks again for your help.   Have a good one,  caveman

Good morning Guys, sure hope your day goes well for you.

I think I should start a new post on this  - - but to carry the thought - - -

igorski,    THANKS MUCH for your input.   Gave me much to think about.  I "hear" you about the RAM.   Perhaps the money would be better spent on another 7900GTX.    I'm  sure many of you Guys have a 7900GTX.  What about a second one  ?

Your input- - -thoughts - - - are indeed GREATLY appreciated.

          Have a good one,   caveman

If you are willing to do it, limit visibility to 5 miles and your puter will probably run FS 2k or FS 2k2. You said all you wanted to do is FLY,

YES?

well...? Go FLY!  Smiley

Interestingly, I saw a copy of FS 2k2 at Target yesterday
