CAN anyone tell me why my PC constantly reboots after 2-3 mins of fs9, and fsx?.................yes i've lowered all settings thinking that it was a cause, but to no avail.....by the time ( or before) I retract flaps it shuts down and reboots...........then ofcourse I have to wait for all to come up again and forget where it was I was flying to!...I'm running pent D dual core, 2.80 ghz,  2 gigs ram, AND a evga nvidia 8800GTX , which I just sold my kids to get...........( almost...).....and I would asume that I would never have to lower settings with this 8800.........agree?....PLEASE HELP...( NOTE: it also happens after just sitting on the tarmac for several mins.....) a real headache    THANKS for any direction or insite.............( temp never goes above 31c on my NZXT front read out) Cry

Something is causing the PC to crash thus the reboots. Either FSX or another program is causing the crash. Try it with a clean system and see if it still happens. Ideally you should be running a clean system anyway to get the best performance out of FSX.
