It's more of a random thread really....

I missed Denny dobson (oh dear  Wink)

Got there just in time to see Guy Westgate in his swift, and Ultimatehigh also did an aerobatic display in their Extra

The herc was there dropping the falcons display team....very impressive to see it operating from such a tiny strip...

Doing aerobatics in a glider takes a very special kind of courage..... you wouldn't get me doing it!

You didn't miss Denny Dobson as he wasn't there. Tongue

What you did miss was a delightful aerial ballet by Carolyn Grace in ML407.

The C-130 used to be a regular visitor to Shoreham.

All are impressive shots!  Even more impressive I think is the one of the departing C-130.  Nice job as always.

Well....I saw her takeoff from the railway, and watched her display from the station as I waited for a bus Wink

i do not think it's the J model becauseit only has 4 props and they are flat not curved. So i think its a E model.

I love these shots mate they are wicked!

Eh, didn't notice that. On first glance it looks J because of the stretched fuselage.

Just to really confuse you, I think you'll find it's a K model Herc (basically an E), which is significantly older than the J model - one of the things Lockheed Martin didn't consider when selling the C130J to it's launch customer (the RAF!)! Smiley

it is indeed a K model Smiley

I prefer them to the Js.....they look more like proper Hercs Cheesy

Also I got a bit bored with the J when I went to Lyneham, and the only hercs about were Js.....gets a bit tiring after a while Wink
